McLaren Vale barbera by the rosé landscape. A good fit. Good producer here. All their wines quite skeletal, as a comment. Not that that is wrong or right, just comes to mind.
Pink-orangey colour. Sour cherry and watermelon. Some juiciness then a tug to tart and dry. Watermelon, sour cherry flavours too, and some Campari. Frisky rosé, good texture, dry and powdery, spice. Exotic and fun.

WINEMAKING: We basket pressed this one to old french hogsheads, barrel fermented at low temperatures with plenty of stirring. It was then aged in barrel on lees, with occasionally stirring to temper the naturally high barbera acidity and round out the palate.
