As per the norm, the Grenache is picked early to preserve acidity and keep the wine crisp, rather than leaning in to the more confected, boiled lolly, strawberries and cream spectrum. With the Mourvedre seeing quite a bit of oxidation as juice to loose green tannin and then heading into the nice mulberry\/peach iced tea zone. A mixture of stainless steel and barrel ferments with a good deal of lees contact (no stirring) in order to build up texture and soften any phenolics.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eA slightly more restrained colour due to the season and slightly earlier picking of the Grenache. The 2022 has a very similar flavour spectrum to years previous, with rose petal, Turkish delight, red skin apples, raspberries, hibiscus tea and lemon peel over the nose and mouth.
