Here's a bargain Bordeaux that's drinking beautifully now, but will continue to age if you wish. Aromas of blackcurrant, redcurrants and plums, with harmonious and mellowed tannins make for a lovely drop that pairs well with roasted or braised meat dishes, but also richer fish.

With 70% Merlot in the blend, this is a richly endowed wine. It shows good spice, the density of the vintage and blackberry fruits. The wine's structure will allow it to age a little further, so drink it from 2020.
