The Little Frances Semillon is a golden straw colour with an aromatic profile of lime leaf and dried hay. On the palate, a hint of an early yellow peach gives way to a generous lemon finish. Don’t be afraid to explore a range of serving temperatures or styles of food with this refreshingly dry and incredibly complex wine.
"Erin Pooley found a semillon vineyard wanting to test if you could make a textured, savoury style ala her home state NSW Hunter Valley wines of ‘youth’ and ipso this came about. Whole bunch pressed, natural ferment, old oak and stainless steel barrels.
Beautifully lemony fresh perfume, whiffs of blanched almonds, some green herb and fern notes, touch of bread dough and honeycomb. Just lovely. Crackles in the palate with lemon honey ginger tea vibes, crystal clear but for a lick of honey, so gently though. A smidge of chalky pucker, limey finish, just so. Feels a couple of years old, not six. A delight."
