A rich, powerful palate is lifted with lovely freshness. The non-vintage Billecart offers the best of both worlds with complexity and delicacy, making it perfect for any occasion
Jean-Paul Perardel NV
Jean Paul Perardel Brut NV is a pale yellow colour with a delicate persistent bead. It has a rich yet subtle bouquet of barley, almonds and toast. The inclusion of a little reserve wine lends a wonderful complexity and roundness to the fresh, creamy palate.
It exhibits the perfect balance between the structure and fruitiness of the Pinot Noir and the finesse of the Chardonnay. J.P Perardel Brut is a classic aperitif or celebratory Champagne created by De Sousa Champagne house.
Laurent Perrier Brut NV
Delightful pale gold in colour with fine and persistent bubbles. Just the sort of bead that heralds a wonderful experience to come. Not too excited , just the right amount of persistence. Aroma is both delicate and fresh, with good complexity and notes of citrus and with fruit. Fresh and supple upon entry with rounded and expressive flavours from which the fruit progressively emerges.
Ninth Island Sparkling NV
Delicate pale gold in colour. On the nose, subtle shortbread and nutty overtones from yeast influence combine with floral and raspberry highlights from the pinot noir/meunier grapes. Along with the delicate citrus and pear influence of the chardonnay grapes, the overall impression is of Christmas cake and spice with creme brulee aromas. A generous and multilayered palate exhibiting expressive pinot noir spices and red berry fruits, complemented by pinot meunier fruit weight. This is balanced by the chardonnay flavours of citrus, mineral and honey, finishing with crisp and lingering acidity.
Paul Louis Brut Blancs de Blancs NV
Paul Louis is a Methode Traditionnelle; that is, the wine has been fermented and aged in the bottle for 9 months in underground cellars in the Loire region of France. It is made from Chenin Blanc. This is a vibrant wine, best served as an aperitif. Excellent quality sparkling with a zesty perfume, reminiscent of the seaside. Paul Louis is bright with clean, natural acidity and finishes crisp and refreshingly dry. Excellent bargain.
